Workshops

All workshops will be held between Latin Dance Canberra and Ainslie Arts Centre. The two venues are located in Braddon and the city centre itself. Both venues have easy access to food options and are a short walk to Canberra Centre shopping centre.

Saturday workshops will run from 9.15am to 4.30pm.

Sunday workshops will run from 11.00am to 4.00pm.

Intermediate stream: For dancers with a solid foundation in Lindy Hop, this stream is ideal for those with 2+ years of experience. You should be comfortable with basic footwork, fundamental moves, and partner connection. This level focuses on refining technique, improving timing, and expanding your repertoire, while still building confidence and comfort in more challenging patterns. Not for beginners, but for those looking to take their dancing to the next level.

Advanced stream: For dancers with 10+ years of experience, this stream requires a strong command of Lindy Hop fundamentals and concepts. Participants should have excellent technique, rhythm, connection, and musicality, with the ability to execute complex patterns and adapt to different tempos and styles. This level is designed for those looking to refine and elevate their skills.
